Mike Marciniak is Director of Business Development, North America, for Single Use Support. In this role he seeks opportunity to advance bioprocessing by sharing the values of the novel process technologies offered by Single Use Support. Mike mainly advises on fluid management topics with focus and expertise on freeze-thaw systems, process intensification, and frozen storage & logistics for high-value drug substances and new bulk drug products. He is a long-time member of ISPE, PDA and the ASME.

With his more than 20-years’ experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, serving in a variety of roles including quality, engineering, innovation, product management and technical sales, he served 8-years as Senior Global Product Manager at Sartorius directing their freeze-thaw technology portfolio. After that, Mike went on to develop advanced passive shipping solutions for specialty cold chain packaging for novel therapeutics.

His education focused on thermal sciences culminating with an MS in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Illinois-Urbana/Champaign.
